Getting a good deal on an auto loan is usually related to the buyer's credit history, but few people realize that most lenders use different criteria for auto loans than they do for mortgages and credit cards.
Refinancing a loan
If you need to save money right away on your auto loan, consider refinancing the loan. While this will usually require you to have a vehicle that is worth more than what you owe on it, if you meet this condition it may be possible to pull some of the equity out of your vehicle, giving you a cash influx when you need it.
Getting a motorcycle loan
If you live on your own and/or if you aren't responsible for anyone else's transportation, it might be a good idea to look into a motorcycle. Getting a motorcycle loan can be easier than getting a loan for a car or truck if you have poor credit.
